Full Refurbishment Project in Crantock, Cornwall

As part of the project, we carried out a complete overhaul of the existing pitched roof. This involved stripping it right back and fitting new Brazilian grey-green slates, each one securely hooked into place. We also installed new felt and battens, added over-fascia vents to improve airflow, and finished the job with a dry ridge system for a clean and durable result.

The old roofline was removed and replaced with fresh white PVC, giving the exterior a much neater appearance. We then took out the original windows and front door, and fitted a brand-new set, a real upgrade that’s not only visually striking but also improves insulation and security.

Elsewhere, the flat roof was stripped and replaced with a new RESTEC system, providing a strong, long-lasting finish. To help the homeowners reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint, we installed a 4kW solar panel system along with a battery to store any excess electricity.

Inside the property, we fully redecorated throughout to freshen everything up. A new woodburner was installed, complete with a smart slate hearth, adding warmth and character to the living space. We also fitted a new air source heat pump and upgraded all the radiators, making sure the heating system was efficient and ready for all seasons.

To bring everything up to current electrical standards, we replaced the existing consumer unit with a new distribution board. With the work now complete, the property not only looks fantastic but also functions brilliantly, is modern, efficient, and ready for the future.
